COM object

I have a CVI program. I have been told that if I compile this into a DLL, I can then call the COM object from an ASP page on my web server. Can this be done?

Hello

You can create an ActiveX server from CVI 6.0, here are a couple of links about some of the activex capabilities that CVI has, perhaps this might help you evaluate the functionality you are for

What ActiveX Features Does LabWindows/CVI Support?

You can also check out a white paper that should be installed on your machine when you installed CVI 6.0, you can find it by going to Start >> Programs >> National Instruments >> Measurement Studio >> Measurement Studio Library and the going to the Concepts and Techniques heading for CVI. Here you will find various documents that would explain how to set things up, there shou
ld be a link to a pdf file called Building ActiveX Servers under White Papers.

I hope this helps
