CVI 8 Crash in Japanese XP OS

I complied code of CVI 8.0 with eng ver XP, it runs OK for days. But when I installed the same executable code in the Japanese XP OS. It run for a while then crashed. My Jap computer reboot by itself. Does anyone has this experience?

The program is communication a RS232 panel meter, downloading the temperature reading and plot the data to the screen also save the data to a file. I had it just plot the data on the stript chart without logging, it still crashed, Please help!

Hello FerroK,

To help further troubleshoot this problem, do you have any more information on the error message you receive when your application crashes?  Do you have a screenshot of this message?  If at all possible, can you isolate it to a particular function call or block of code?
