CVI's multiple/single document interface

Hello all,

I'm a bit confused by the (new?) halfway use of MDI/SDI in CVI's IDE.
In particular the behavior of the Build Output window.

I have a double monitor setup, so it's only natural to have the source code
windows within the CVI IDE, and to have the Build Output window as a
'released window' on the other monitor. But when I double click on one of
the error messages, the window just disapears. I have to go to the [Window]
menu to open it back up for every error message (and it doesn't open in the
place I placed it previously).

Is there a way to keep it open ?
This applies to some other windows as well (but not all, the Source Code
Browser behaves as expected for instance).

Hi Guillaume Dargaud,

This was reported to R&D (# 48ABDJZL) for further investigation. The window actually gets repositioned behind the main CVI window on your primary monitor. For now you will have to dock the window to the main CVI window to see it. Thanks for the feedback!
