Can LabWindows/CVI program run under Windows XP embedded?

I am writing software for an embedded PC in a trainer. We are looking at using Windows XP embedded. Can LabWindows/CVI be used to create a program that will run under Windows XP embedded in this environment? If not can Visual C++ be used to interface with NI software in this environmnet?

Hello

Officially, the answer is no, since we have not tested CVI with Embedded XP. However it still might work. It all depends on what Microsoft add/removed in the embedded version of XP. And since we dont officially support it, please remember that you if you do happen to run into problems, you will be on your own.

If you are looking to embedded, real-time OS's, check out LabVIEW RT, which allows you to download LAbVIEW code, and CVI dll's to run on a Pharlap OS on a control. Check out the following link for more information.

I hope this helps
