Copying SHA(Secure Hash Algorithm) using LabWindows CVI

Hi,

Could anybody tell how to copy SHA code of any file. Be it a text file, DLL, .obj or an executable.

Do we have any built-in function in LabWindows CVI to do this?

Thanks in advance!

I am not aware of a built-in CVI function for this. But, you can use the Microsoft's command line solution, FCIV (File Checksum Integrity Verifier).

It is not available by default. You need to download it first (this link is also available in the linked page above).

After you downloaded it you can all it and direct its output to a file. You can use CVI functions to get the result from the file. It is easier than it looks 😉

I will try downloading this FCIV utility package
