How to solve Error 206009 ?

Without any modification of my usual CVI software, I have the following error that suddenly appeared:

Status Code : -89130

Device not available for routing. It is possible that the device needs to be reset or that the device is being reset. If you are resetting the device, wait for the reset to complete. For example, if you have used the device through Traditional NI-DAQ, you must reset the device before the requested route can be made.

I tried to solve this through Measurement and Automation Explorer by resetting all my devices. It just changed the error printed by CVI to :

Status Code : -200609

Error code -200609 Generation cannot be started, because the selected buffer size is too small.

Increase the buffer size

Selected buffer size : 1

Minimum required buffer size : 2

The problem has been solved. There was in fact 2 issues :

1. The NI devices had crashed.
2. A config file used when the software starts was lacking.

The solution is as simple as a reboot + restore the config file !
