Is there a block select feature in the CVI editor?

Solved!

I'm a CVI newbie and am becoming familiar with the environment.  One thing I haven't found yet is a block select feature.  Can anyone help me out on this?  I'm looking for something functionally similar to, say, Alt-drag in MS Word.

Thanks.

Yes. You can switch between various selection modes by pressing <Ctrl-Insert>, or by clicking on the symbol in the status line, see attached figure.

Well, I did not know that Alt-drag thing in MS Word.

Thanks, kc64 ! 🙂

As an alternative, the Balance function (Ctrl+B) automatically selects all the block the cursor is in (e.g. from initial { to final } in a for or if block...)

Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.
