I hope that before LabWindows is put to rest, that someone will updates the database library to 64 bits. There are a few other libraries, PID is one that would be useful.

I think CVI is dead. Look at the forum here. It's full of spam and nobody cares.

Are you trying to be an agent provocateur? While nobody here will really contest the first part of your statement, you should try to enlighten me what you consider spam. There have been incidental spam posts in the last few months but I removed several of them myself. If you find one you should report it to a moderator.

Nah, to be fair, the forum was full of spam this morning (of the first 12 threads 10 were spam). It has been taken care of.

Spammers seem to be quite busy recently and having found loop holes in most forums software solutions. However your morning may be still deep in the night in Austin, and I think you allow for the moderators at NI to sleep at night. 😁

Are you kidding me? Yesterday the forum was full of spam (I didn't find the report button) and look at this thread. We don't get an answer regarding the future of CVI.
And regarding the support of CVI: I reported few very annoying and breaking bugs in CVI2020 (e.g. ini sorting) and had a video call with the support. They told us they are they will definitely not fixing our reported bugs and I has to work with a workaround. The support seemed very unprofessional and bored during the call. After that we stopped our CVI subscription.
Btw, my reported bugs never gets to the "official bug list".
We have been NI customers for over 20 years now and have used CVI and LabView. The support used to be very professional and we always got really good answers. In recent years the quality of the support has dropped so much that we sometimes had to wait a long time for answers and when we did get one, the support had searched for a solution on Google. In addition, support for some CVI libraries was discontinued with 2019 (e.g. NIReport). Then came the announcement that NI had been sold and CVI2020 would be the last version.
And that's why I came to this conclusion.
If I have offended anyone here in the forum, I am sorry.

Calm down. I explicitly said in my first answer that nobody here is contending the first part of your message that LabWindows/CVI is dead. And I share your sentiments about NI so far having only made rather evading statements about the future of LabWindows/CVI. It is like their lawyers told them that saying anything else than such non-committal language would get them into insider trading lawsuits from the SEC. 😁
My concern was about the spam and if I had missed something completely, as I regularly visit this forum and either report questionable posts or even directly remove obvious spam messages myself.
