Missing AllocCVIMemory Procedure Entry Point

I updated a CVI tool using the latest IDE. Everything builds and works fine on my computer system and my coworkers. However, when we send out the executable out to the field and they attempt to run it, they receive an error and are not able to open the tool at all.
The error reads as follows:
"The procedure entry point AllocCVIMemory could not be located in the dynamic link library C"\Users\.....\myCVITool.exe.

Anyone have any idea why they are getting this error?

If you updated from a IDE version to a newer one you must update the Run-Time Engine on the target machines to the same or newer version.

Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

Hello,

the runtime engine must have been updated.

Don't send the executable, make an installer and send that instead. Yes, it's (much) bigger, but everything will be up to date inside.
