Why are there no winsock2 libraries included in the new windows SDK for CVI 9.0? They are still in the windows SDK and can I can link to them there, but that can be a pain on some machines. It seems like a lot of sdk libraries have been arbitrarily removed from CVI's win SDK? Is the plan with CVI9.0 to require a MS version of windows SDK for many libraries?

I think I've solved my problem. The new developers suite installer (4 DVDs) doesn't install the SDK and I can't find an option through that installer to include it. I had to use CVI's installer directly from DVD2 and was then prompted to include to the full WIN32 API.

Hi Greg,
When you select which products to install in the Developer Suite installer, you can select "Custom Install" instead of "Install". That should cause the feature tree specific to each product to be display prior to running the installation sequence.
