clang __TIMESTAMP__

Hello,

officially the clang macro __TIMESTAMP__ is defined to the date and time of the last modification of the current source file.

I found that using CVI2015 this macro gives meaningful, i.e., correct results only if the source file is saved just before compilation, otherwise it shows Thursday Jan 1 1970 at 1.00.00. I would have expected to see the date/time of the last save.

Just for your interest

Hello Melanie,

this bug is still unfixed in CVI2015SP1. Could you please provide the CAR for easier tracking? Thanks

Hi Wolfgang,

the tracking number is 543786, sorry I forgot to post it.

The target version for fix is not known at the moment, so you are correct, it is not fixed for 2015 SP1.

Best
