no sdk installing option for CVI 2009

Hey guys -

 

Actually, the reason you didn't see the option the first time is because you were installing from the platform DVD.  This assumes you want the default options when installing.  If you want to modify the installation, you should click the arrow next to LabWindows/CVI 2009 (Base/Full) and select "Install with customization".

Also, FYI, we've made installing the Win32 API the default in CVI 2010, so as of CVI 2010 there should no longer be the need perform this customization step to get the Win32 API.

Thank you Nick, for the clarification

 

I note that the "Platform Installer" disk I received is not the same as the FDS download available from the NI site.  A bit confusing, but I'm up and running. Thanks.
