the UIR file pops up in wrong mode

Hi NI

using 8.5.0 and noticed that the UIR file pops up in the wrong mode when the program is running. I am debugging a program and have the active GUI on screen, I go to the prj window and open the UIR in editor mode... the top of the window should have <<Running>> on the menu bar, instead it list the editor menu File,  Edit, Create .... so This has raised an Exception error once or twice if I click on a menu item, not get a response, click on another menu that has << Running >> to break the program... if I can repeat the sequence to get the Exception Error, I will repost...

BTW, this is in the Clasic view...

I have been trying, but thus far have been unable to reproduce the behavior you are describing. Is there a small project that you might be able to attach that I could try?

Try this simple dB to Vrms tool... I think it should do.

Hi Chip,

Your small example did it for me, I was just missing the correct sequence of events to cause what you were seeing.  This was reported to R&D (# 4HDHAOJO) for further investigation.  Thanks for the feedback!
