Lookout 6.1 keeps asking to activate registration

Not sure if this is the correct board so please let me know.

 

Our pc running the Lookout 6.1 version 27 lost power.  When we fixed the power issue (replaced the outlet), the operator logged in as normal and started the program.  What popped up is the message Lookout unlicensed version with the 2 options Activate Lookout or run demonstration. When going through the activation the Automatically activate fails with the message NI is currently experiencing technical difficulties. try again later.  

 I attempted to do the email and that failed because the email address is no longer valid.

When i call all i get is that my product serial is not long enough, now this is the serial number that is generated by the activation wizard.  Fortunately I had a rep that point me to the location of the License files and they are there and are the exact copies from the txt files I have.

 The company we purchased this from says its a log in issue but I was able to change the pc log in and that did not change anything.

It worked a couple months ago for Lookout ver 6.7.1

Thanks but I get Invalid serial number when I try that. It is really strange because that is the Serial number that the Lookout application generates.

The serial number is an 9 character code, the computer ID is generated by the NI activation wizard and is 4 sets of 4 characters.  I don’t think the computer ID is generated without a valid serial number, but I could be wrong.  I also think NI only issues license keys for the most recent (and final) version of Lookout (6.7.1), but I could be wrong about that as well.
