Hello, I would like to bult a housing case rated IP65 for an industrial camera, and i would like to ask which material is more apropriate for the front side of the camera in order to not change the image quality. Could I use plexi glass, or any composite material?
Any suggestion would be very helpfull,
Thank you

Hi G.Stefos,
This forum isn't really the best place to ask this question. While it is related to machine vision, it isn't really specific to working with NI specific hardware or software and is more a generic design question. Unfortunately, NI won't really be able to answer this question, but you may have success somewhere else.
Thanks,

Hi Stefos,
Your glass should have optical quolity that is similar to your lens.
Simple solution is to pick and UV filter of the shelf and use it for your enclosure

There are a couple of companies I work with that make hard enclosures for machine vision cameras. None of them involve section 8 housing.
