Having image capture problems with 2 cameras and the PCIe-1430

Hey Eric,

I installed the camera file generator utility and loaded up the camera file and deleted all the serial commands as you suggested. Then I loaded the camera utility from JAI and set the cameras up the way I needed them. That seemed to take care of the problem. It looks like I'll have to create a new fully functional camera file for these camera's. By the way you were correct about the firmware version. The camera file was created for version 1.0 and the camera's are at 1.02.

Thank you very much for your help Eric,

Rick

I'm also having issues with this. I'm trying to use two cameras at once in a via, and I have the Vision Assistant software. The cameras are the exact same factory model, and each time I try to call both cameras in a single VI or even as a subVI, one of the cameras will not show any images and time out. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Are you using the same camera models and PCI cards as described in this post?   If so, what have the suggested troubleshooting steps (disabling the serial commands, creating new camera file, checking the firmware version)?  If not, feel free to create a new post for this new issue.
