IMAQdx.ctl

Hi all

I'm trying to load a labview program that use vesion library

I made sure I have IMAQdx install with my version

still when running it is not workeable(broking arrow) becouse it can't find IMAQdx.dll

I serch for it in c or in labview folder and could'nt find it

aprricate your help

Here: C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2015\vi.lib\vision\driver\IMAQdx.llb

If installed correctly.

-Check in License manager whether Vision Development  and Acquisition Module is installed.

What version of LabVIEW installed?
What version of vision development module installed?
What version of vision acquisition installed?
What vi you are trying to open and get this error?
If possible post vi.

IMAQdx.ctl should be located in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2015\vi.lib\userdefined\High Color\IMAQdx.ctl

NIIMAQdx.dll should be located in:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\niimaqdx.dll

C:\Windows\System32\niimaqdx.dll

Hi Israel,

Please double check that the ctl is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 20xx\vi.lib\userdefined\High Color. Is LabVIEW having trouble locating other IMAQdx VIs?

Please also answer the questions someone posted on the versions of LV and VAS you have.

Are you trying to open an example? Is this a VI you built from scratch? Please post more details on this as well.

Thank you for all your answer

the problem was that I'm new to labview and didnt anderstand the way it installed

I thougth by having the vision at National instrument folder it mean rhat I can acsses it,

as it's thern out this folder is block in my version.

I disable the vision part in my Vi becouse it was not essntial to me

and mannage to work with the Vi
