Hello!
In Stereo Vision Example.vi, the number of disparity is computed by IMAQ Get Maximum Disparity VI, I think the maximum depth is set by user. I use two Basler acA cameras with 1.86m height above the ground. After many times calibration, I got a result, but not very good. I used a point grid that distance between points is 2cm.
I post this, who can tell me, how to calibrate cameras right?

Dear lizguo_lin,
You can calibrate your cameras using LabView example called Calibrate Stereo Vision System.vi,
with this example you can calibrate and after save the calibration for future use.

Hello! bocasy
I use Stereo Vision Example.vi to calibrate my two cameras, I search Calibrate Stereo Vision System.vi through NI example finder, but found nothing.
Can you tell me where is it. Actually Stereo Vision Example can calibrate stereo vision system. I just don`t know how to calibrate my stereo system effectively.

Hello lizhuo_lin,
I used the Stereo Vision Example.vi also and run into some setbacks but managed to make it work. The depth of field data it's not 100% consistent with the real data and because of the time I estimated to be needed for solving this issue I suggest you to contact the local support so they could get more information about the problem and assist you.On following link: http://www.ni.com/niglobal/ you can find list of our Worldwide Offices.
Best regards,
Andrei B.

Hello! bocasy
Thanks for your kind reply! I contact NI AE, but he can`t solve this problem. So I post there.
Are you a staff of NI company? LabVIEW 2013 is release at 8.2, and you know the new example of LabVIEW 2013 called calibrate stereo vision system at 8.1! Ha Ha!
I try a little bit of LabVIEW 2013 and VDM 2013, there is still some mistake in the example, and the explanation in calibrate stereo vision system.vi is not good enough, so it`s no wonder you can`t get good calibration.

Hello lizhuo_lin,
What you are facing, indeed is an unexpected behavior.
My advise is to contact your local NI branch and validate this behavior. Afterwards it will be a lot easier to escalate it to the R&D or people that will be able to solve it in the future versions.
Best regards,
Andrei B.

Hello! bocasy
Thanks for your reply!
I already contact NI China, but they also cann`t calibrate the stereo vision system.
LabVIEW is released and Stereo vision model is not updated. It seems that NI is very confident with this model.
And I found the way to calibrate the stereo vision system. I put it in a new post as followed
