Hello all,
I've just run MAX for the first time on my computer to configure my peripherals.
But, when I open it, i can't even see my integrated webcam neither my system parameters or system ressources.
I have an error message that says : "A problem occured when updating the settings for this device. Error code : 80004005"
Has anybody already saw this kind of issue?
Thanks,
Jonathan

So, it seems that after hours of searching on the internet, the problem was due to a missing driver.
I've checked and the issue was due to the lack of the NI-VISA driver.
Thanks to people who was wondering about my problem.
Sincerely,
Jonathan

Thanks, Jonathan.
I encountered this problem today, and found a different cause and solution:
Using a NI 9250 cDAQ module with a TEDS microphone attached caused the error for us. We were unable to rename the device from the default in NI MAX until removing the TEDS device from the module in NI MAX. Simply unplugging the microphone and refreshing MAX might have also worked.
Hope this helps someone else out there. Or maybe I'll find this comment again when I run into the same problem in a few years.
