I have bought a new camera with a Sony polarization sensor. With NI-MAX it works OK if I set the pixel formal to any of the mono modes but I get the message "No decoder available for the selected pixel format" if I select any of the Polarized modes.
I understand that the polarized pixel format are not incorporated in the NI-IMAQx package. Can I do some trick to get the raw polarization data from the camera using Labview?

Hello,
There are two potential scenarios here:
You probably already have what you want with the Mono formats, but we haven't actually tested any FLIR camera (if that's what you have) with that sensor to be absolutely sure. I would examine that Mono image you're getting and see if it's actually the raw polarized data. The camera vendor support team might also have recommendations for use in third-party software.

Hi
I am facing the same problem. I have a polarized imager (made by Lucid). I have no problem grabe mono8 images, But When I try to grab a polarized Image the NI throws the message "No decoder available for selected pixel format"
Did you solve this problem
Thanks
