I am currently working on a project in which I have to dectect an object or land mark using a camera in real time and calculate its ditance from camera in real time (object can be 4-5 meter away) . I should be able to update the distance as the object moves farther from the camera in real time. I am using Logitec Hd 720p usb camera and Labview 2015 with Vision Assitance module, Vison Development module and Vision Aqusition Software module. I know that for obeject/ Landmark detection and distance calculation, first I have to caliberate the camera or something like that. As I am total beginner with Labview so don't know much yet.
I have gone through examples files and couldn't find much help from the.
If somone has already worked on something like that , please share vi files.
