Unable to capture RGB images

Hi,

I am trying to capture an image from Firewire camera. It is RGB camera and I can see nice RGB images in the software provided by company. But when I try to capture image using the attached program in LABVIEW, it displays and captures only grayscale images with some weired appearance which we can see upon magnification. Please check the attached program and images and help me in sorting out this issue.

Can you check if it displays properly in MAX ?
-Check camera settings in MAX whether all are fine?

Which camera you are using?

Have you checked the camera settings in NI MAX?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. It is Dage-MTI XLM 350 CCD camera. I have checked it in NI MAX. It is same. When I checked it in LABVIEW program, it displays RGB (U32) as image type. But in both cases (LABVIEW and NI MAX) images are grayscale. Please check attached images for the settings in the NI MAX.

check two possible thing that could make this mistake
1 any camera have some mode and setting that you can change it in ni max
so test different pixel format and video mode in NI max setting esp pixel format could cause this problem
2 check if labview interface and firmware is update for this camera and also support RDG u32 for this camera
