Hello,
I'm developing prototype of an inspection system which will acquire variable height images using a line-scan camera. Frame-start and frame-stop actions to be controlled by software triggers. Maximum image range will be 12000 lines.
Setup details:-
Hardware components:
Camera -> Basler raL6144-16gm
NIC -> DGS-1008A
Software components:
LabVIEW 2014 (32-bit)
NI Vision Development Module 2014 (32-bit)
Basler Pylon Viewer ver6 (64-bit)
Windows 10 (64-bit)
Tasks:-
1. Configuring Frame-start and Frame-stop with software trigger in IMAQdx and LabVIEW.
2. Configuring dynamic frame size (in length direction) for line-scan camera, i.e. variable height acquisition (VHA) with IMAQdx.
3. Memory allocation or buffer configuration for dynamic frame size images of line-scan camera.
4. Guidelines for configuration of line-scan camera parameters, and selection of related hardware components (such as lenses, lights, cables etc.)
5. Calibration of line-scan camera system.
I'm quite new in the field of machine vision and still learning basics of concepts of line-scan camera system. Please share insights, tips, tutorials, study material, etc. Help and guidance of any sort is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
B. Sharma
