Finally got my cimago 134c camera working with imaqdx 4.0.0. The company had a newer version if xml file for the camera.

I never got IMAQdx 3.9.1 and labview 2012 working thought. The imaqdx function palette never appeared in labview, no matter what I did: activation, reinstall, using VAS or just device driver install.

3.9.1 was too early to support LabVIEW 2012, but the following version does.
