modify AOI of acA2040-180km Basler camera by Labview

I have an acA2040-180km basler camera which is connected with NI PCIe-1433 and its parameters are controled by pylon Viewer. I hope to seperate the imaging area into several parts and can modify AOI by Labview automatically in the whole acquisition process. However, I didn't find AOI control in the camera atrributes in the MAX and didn't know how to set the corresponding nodes in the Labview.  I've been struggling with this problem for a long time. If you just want to define the area of intrest you can use an image mask function. If you want a dynamic thing then you need to give more detials.

Hello Harry,

just acquire the full picture by MAX and Imaqdx and have a look to the Labview example "image masks". There you can see how to use the ROI function of Labview Vision. Much better to use the correct functions as to define the ROI (Labview calls the "Area Of Interest" - "Region Of Interest") by a dirty workaround. Do you change the AOI dynamicaly in the Pylon viewer by a shellscript?
