Can't find simulated USB-6009 in listing

Solved!
Go to solution

In Automation Explorer, when I try to create a new NI-DAQmx Simulated Device, I can't find the USB-6009. You'd think it would be under the USB-DAQ listing, but all that's there is 9000 series devices. Are the 6000 series not available as simulated devices?

The USB-6009 is not currently available for simulation.  The USB-6211 is a pretty close equivalent, though it has some features that the 6009 does not have.

Is there a USB-6211 simulated device? If so, where can I find it? I can only find the USB-9000 series devices.

Hi Jordan,

The USB-6211 is actually a M series family device.  Expand M Series DAQ when creating your Simulated Device, then scroll toward the bottom for the list of USB devices.  Hopefully this helps!
