Hi,
when you look at the property of your component used (like DaqTaskX.mxb) the "Custom Tool" should refer to i.e. "NationalInstruments.MeasurementStudio.Tools.DotNET.MxbCodeGenerator.2008".
Then the "Custom Tool" property is empty or wrong (i.e.: "NationalInstruments.MeasurementStudio.Tools.DotNET.MxbCodeGenerator") try to add a new component and observe which exact property contents you should have for your old component.
