Migration from vs2010 to newer (vs2019)

Hi,

We want to modify an old software, it was made on vs2010 (msvc100) and was using the measurement studio of the time.

Now we are using vs2019 and thus mscv140 (142 to be exact), the .lib that was used, for example, NiCommon100.lib,

are no longer compatible since they were compiled with another compiler version.

Question is:

How can I migrate/get new .lib that are compatible with the newer version of the compiler?

I installed measurement studio for vs2019 but I didn't find any matching libs...

Thanks for the answer.

Our current temporary solution is indeed to run vs2010 in a VM,

since the code doesn't need a lot of updates and we should restart this soft from scratch Soon™.

I will contact Ni support anyway, but if I didn't get an answer for 6 months it's quite unlikely I get one now.
