Manufacturing Assembly and Test Code Review

Hi All,

From the last User Group there was some interest in doing a larger code / application review and I volunteered to demonstrate some of the Labview controlled manufacturing assembly and test assets my team is working on here at Husco.  We have done a shift lately to leverage our Labview experience on our final test stations and pushed that upstream to incorporate more test and control into the assembly process.  We have started driving robots for inspection and assembly operations controlled by directly by Labview to integrate better with our data acquisition.

I am proposing a Virtual (Teams) meeting on Thursday Sept 26th from 12-2pm for all who are interested.  If there are people interested in attending in person (located in Waukesha) I would order some lunch and we could eat/meet starting at 11:30 and I would arrange a plant/build area tour after the virtual portion as we have several stations here that are being built and tested to see them in action.  We have one demo cell with a ABB IRB7600 robot moving around 600+ pound valves and another with multiple Epsons assembling/glueing/testing a vehicle controller all driven with Labview.

If you are interested please send me a message with your name, email, company and if you would want to attend virtually or in-person so I can get a tally.  The only people I wouldnt be able to offer an invite to are those working for direct competitors of Husco so that would need to be reviewed.

It was noted I didnt include my contact info 😞

Hi All,

Wanted to follow up and see if there were others interested in attending either in person or online.  I am putting together material and will be sending out teams invites this week and planning lunch for those attending in person so would like to have a firm head count.

Thanks!
