Hey, I have two Leeson 3 phase induction motors that are set up on a materials shredder. The motors are rated at 1740 rpm, 230V, 3hp. I am having trouble shredding a 2 by 4 piece of wood and I think I am not producing the maximum torque these motors can do. How do I improve these motors torque enough to shred the 2 by 4 without stalling/jamming the motors? Thanks.
