I cannot get the 5V o/p on pin 31 to switch on.

The manual says it is off in USB suspend mode, but I do not know what this is or how to switch it on.

This is on a laptop by the way.

Anyone come across this?

I also have a blinking led, but no +5v on pin 31, no 2.5v on pin 30, and cannot get the ports to change state.  I realize you post is months old, but wondered if you found a solution.
