Solved!

Hi,
I was looking in the driver's download section for Linux drivers for the 4351, but was unable to find any.  Is the PCI-4351 compatible with Linux?
Thanks,
Mike

Hello Mike,

No we do not currently have a driver that supports the PCI-4351 on a Linux system. The current DAQ drivers for Linux is

NI-DAQmx Version 8.0 for Linux

NI-DAQmx Base Version 2.1 for Linux

In the readme.txt, you will find information on all the different hardware that is supported by the driver. The PCI-4351 is not listed there.

Another resource to check driver compatibility is to go the Data Acquisition (DAQ) Installation/Configuration Troubleshooter - NI-DAQ Driver Support.

I hope this information helps you out with your application.

Thank you, once again Sandra T for your help.

Is this possibly going to be something that is released in the future?

Mike

Hey Mike,

I know that we are consistently working on improving the products and support that we offer, but I do not know when they will release a new Linux driver.
I would recommend checking www.ni.com for the latest news.
