I would like to know if the 5V supply on the USB-6008 can sink any current.
I want to measure an open-drain digital output, which is pulled up to 12V via a 100K resistor. If I connect one of the digital inputs on the 6008 to this output, the 100k pull-up and the 4k7 internal pull-up will create a voltage divider, and if the 5V supply can sink the ~0.1mA from the 12V through the two resistors, I should have about 5.3V on the input port which is within the specs of the 6008.

According to this Knowledge Base, it appears that the 6008 can sink up to .243mA. Since you are only sinking about .1mA, you should be fine. Here is the link to the KB:
