Connection a load cell with Ni 9949 to Ni 9237

Hi everyone,

I am trying to connect a load cell, full bridge, to the Ni 9237 using a Ni 9949... I have conecting the wires as  describe in the manual specification of the Ni 9237 [ Ex- (7) ; ex+ (6); In + (2) ; In- (3)].

What happens is, When I try to read the load cell using either MAX or the DAQ Assistant in LabVIEW, I always get the same output value ( 25mv/V), having or not  applied a load to the load cell.... Anyone knows why is it happening?

Thank you,

BR ,

Ana

Hi Ana,

What kind of bridge configuration did you choose?(Half or Full bridge?)

Do you use an internal or external excitation voltage and at each level?

Thanks

HI Paolo,

I choose a full bridge configuration.... I am not using an external voltage... I select internal voltage with 10V ... I still not working.. you have any idea why ?

Thank you

Are you sure the load cell is working? Do you have any other load cells or units you can test with the same configuration?
