Daq Sample Rate Calculation Method

I want to calculate the Array Size Based on DAQ Sample Clock and Read Function, I have configured the VI as attached.

I get different (No of Rows) once i change the Elapsed Time and Rate.

I am getting same number of samples per channels as i configure.(columns).

Please give a formula to calculate.

I am preparing for CLAD and confused with DAQ.

Hi,

I recommend you to watch this videos. They explain the formula to calculate the Array Size based on the Rate, Number of samples per Channel and Elapsed Time.

Just use my formula. If you have more questions don't hesitate to message me I'll be happy to share to you what I learned..

formula is ((Time divided by (samples over rate)) plus 2 🙂 you get the number of rows 🙂 if ever you have decimal places just remove it that's the purpose of adding 2 🙂 WAVE from PH.

Hello,

I have been working with daq to see the performance of analog modulation technique. The sample rate of arbitrary waveform generator (AO) and oscilloscoipe (AI) have a maximum sampling rate of 200KS/s. But in DAQ specifications, they have mentioned  the frequency range as DC to 400kHz. How is this possible? If the DAQ is ready to take 400Khz signal, then there should be a way to change the sample rate. I have tried changing sample rate in ARB and oscilloscope. But 200 Ks/s is the maximum input it can take. Please provide solution for this problem.,
