Data Acq on Windows CE 5.0 via C#... Can it be done?

I have a Windows CE 5.0 system with a C# (.NET) application running on it.  I need to add some basic data aquistion like that provided by the NI USB-6008 OEM (analog input, encoder input). 

Is the NI-DAQmx Base driver compatible with CE 5.0?

Does this driver support C# application development or is it for "LabView only"?

If the answer is "no" on either of the above questions, is there another approach that you'd recommend.

According to the Readme 4.2 or later should be supported and this user also seemed to have success with 5.0.  However, also note in the readme that ANSI C is the only other language supported.  Reading this discussion forum about controlling an encoder with the USB-6008 may be beneficial as it is an in depth discussion regarding its capabilities.  Hopefully this helps!

Apparently, CE is only supported with LabView - not with C/C++/C# applications development.
