Nick and John,
I don't know what happened but I tried again the next day and LabView just worked magically again. No one touched the computer. It just worked. Thanks though for your help. One of the other people in my lab said that this happens from time to time. I am using a PCI-6024E connected to a BNC 2120(basic A/D-I/O board) but the other machine running it had the same problem using a different device(rack mounted BNC 2090) with appropriately modified programming.
If this is going to be a recurring problem I'd like to find a permanent solution if possible.
I think we have the newest version of the drivers for LabView7.1(hp34401a???) I'm not sure, but we haven't upgraded to the newest version of LabView for laziness sake(no one wants to edit/check all of our programs for compatibility).
Thanks,
Mike W.
