I want to generate exactly 20kHz sine waveform on my NI9263. How I can do that? How I can set the number of samples and the sample clock rate? Some one can help me?
Thanks

Hello Scarface03,
use the standart example Voltage - Continuous Output.vi from the example finder.
The maximum rate of the module is 100K/S, so your 20KHz sine wave consists of 5 samples.

I tried to generate a sweep from 1hz to 20khz with NI9263 setting the sample clock at 100khz but connecting the oscilloscope I see a sinewave not smooth (but not like in your photo) already at frequencies around 5000-10000hz. I tried to put a low pass filter after daq and the situation improved. Is this the solution?

Hello Scarface03,
what i found out for me is for FFT and frequency calculaton you have to double the rate, for the shape you have to use factor 10. In your case for a good shape with 20Khz, you need a sample rate of 200Khz to get a good result. A filter in the AO is ok, if it works for you, many people put out a PWM and use a RC filter behind to make the sinus.
