Installing NI-VISA 4.5.0 in OpenSUSE 11.2 fails

I am trying to use a NI USB 6009 so I am installing NI-VISA 4.5.0 as a prerequisite to DAQmx Base. I get the following error:

Hi pcr,

 

This distribution of Linux is not supported by National Instruments drivers.  Check out the What Linux Distributions Do National Instruments Drivers and Software Support? KnowledgeBase.
