Does anyone have a suggestion for mounting a USB-6008 DAQ on a panel. I am using it for a system where it should not be loose. I have some ideas but hope someone smarter has already a good solution.
Thanks

Hi,
I guess you could try screwing it down through the loop (which is actually to zip down the USB cable) next to the USB, and maybe manufacture some sort of a strap that runs the length of the device (parallel to the ports). Somewhat similar to what the 6366 has. Either that, or you could just use a couple of zip ties to fix it down.
But depending on your application, you should really take into consideration that this device isn't meant for very rough environments, and you do this on your own responsibility 🙂 .

It is not a rugged application but the box will be moved and I just don't want it laying loose. I am thinking about just putting a velcro pad on the back and atttaching it that way. Should be all I need.

That would definitely do. Don't forget to zip the wire as well, so it won't just unplug accidentally.

i dont think you should screw mount the daq through the zip line hole because its plastic. ive used heavy duty velcro (home depot) with much success, its like gorilla strength or ive used epoxy for my small non mountable power supplies in test equipment with the same effect. so decide if you want removable or permanent, believe me..nothing is going to shake loose with the heavy duty velco
