NI 9234 not detected by sbRIO 9631 mobile robot throught c series port?

 Hello,

We have an NI SbRio 9631 mobile robot, and now we would like to extend this throught it's C series port with a NI 9234 4 channel data acquisition board.   Our problem now is that the NI 9234 board is not recognized by the robot hardware or the MAX software too. We updated the DAQ module software to 9.2.3 version, but it's still didn't recognize the NI 9234 board, only the SbRIO 9631 board. We tried in the Max software to configure the tasks ( Analog input) but nothing apears.

What could be the problem in this case ?.

Please respond as soon as possible. You're help would be much appreciated.

Best regards, Laci

Hello,

Because this is a SbRIO 9631 and not a Compact DAQ it is not configured the same way in software.  It is expected that you would not be able to see the C-series module in Measurement & Automation Explorer.  You will be able to access the C-Series module through the FPGA project. For more information about this environment visit this link.

Hi alieas,

Since you are referencing an R Series card I want to point you to our Real-Time Measurement and Control forum. If you create a new post in that space stating your question in a clear and concise manor then it will allow us to easily answer your question as well as categorizing it with other questions of the same type so that future users can easily search for and find the same help you are seeking.
