NI 9280 Absolute maximum Current

I would like to know the absolute maximum current for NI 9208 through AI1-AI15 pins. The operating Instructions and Specification PDF claims that absolute maximum current through Vsup pins is 2A. The typical input range is +/-22mA, but what is an absolute maximum. It is clear that NI 9208 is unable to measure currents above 22mA, but is it able to withstand it? Will it bring a permanent damage or it wont?

Hi Gurator,

The 22mA is the maximum current that the device can sink. Anything above this current could damage the device.
