Not able to configure differential inputs on DAQCard-6062E using Measuremnt and Automation Explorer

I have a  DAQCard-6062E PCMIA card connected to a BNC 2110. When I try and configure the card as a NI-DAQmx device it appears to configure the device as having 16 single ended channels.  I want to configure it for 8 differential channels.  I am running Labviews 7.1 and Measurement and Automation Explorer version 4.0.3.3003

You do not have to configure the DAQ card as differential or single ended, in MAX

The channels are configured as differential or single ended in LabVIEW, while building an Analog Input acquisition VI.

When configured as differential, your 16 single ended channels will be treated as differential pairs [ (ai0,ai8), (ai1,ai9),.....]
