OSX 10.12 driver for DAQ 6001

Hello,

I have tried many of the existing drivers but I am not able to have my DAQ 6001 recogmnized on my macbook pro running OSX 10.12. The same DAQ works fine on my windows partition.
When I look for a driver for this specific device on the NI website everything seems to be Windows only. Any advice to get it running on the Mac?

We have a different DAQ druver version called DAQmx Base that is built specifically for Linux and Mac OS X. DAQmx Base has some limited functionality due to the differences in operating systems, but it is currently the best way to interface DAQ and Mac. I included the product page for it as well as the download link for the latest version of the driver and some compatibility information below.

The 15.0 version of the driver has not yet been tested with Mac OS X 10.12, but it is compatible with up to 10.10 so this would be your best option moving forward. Let me know if that works for you or if you need any more assistance!

Hi Chris,

I have tried this driver and my Mac does not recognise the DAQ. I currently use bootcamp and run the software on windows.
Do you have a new version compatible with the latest Mac OSX scheduled?

I'm not sure the schedule of our next DAQmx Base driver for Mac. If you are using the DAQ device on the Windows partition of your computer, you should be able to use any of the Windows versions of the driver. Driver compatibility is based on the operating system rather than the physical computer hardware. Because you're using a Windows OS on a Mac device, you should be using the Windows Driver. See the article below for DAQmx and LabVIEW compatibility to make sure the DAQmx driver you are planning on using is compatible with your version of LabVIEW. Our latest version of the driver is 16.1, I included the link below as well.

Indeed everything is working perfectly on windows (and I use the windows driver), so I know it's not related to the hardware of my mac. 
I will be waiting for NI to release a new mac driver compatible with the latest OS.
