Problem with vi developed for optical encoder

Hello

Please some one help me in running the VI which i developed for optical encoder. I have attached the VI, in attachment files. I don't know whats wrong with it.

The reason the vi is not runnable is you do not have a default setting for each case

for each case structure, right click on the selection menu, say for case 0 , select

make this the default case


Do this for all case structure

Hi Jayaprakash,

As an alternative to all those nested case statements - you might like to try this example code of mine.

The core logic of the three XOR functions is the same as that used in electronic hardware to decode digital quadrature signals into "increment" and "direction" (for digital counter inputs).
