Hi,
I have trouble understanding the Sensitivity value in the product specifications multifunctional DAQ-devices. For example in the specifications of USB621x-devices on page 4 it is stated that for +/-10V range the sensitivity is 91.6uV. It is also said that there the sensitivity refers to "the smallest voltage change that can be detected". However the resolution with 16bits and +/-10V range would be 305uV. How can this "sensitivity" be smaller than the resolution?
I found one answer stating that: "Sensitivity spec. requires a far more detailed explanation, but essentially this is an industry standard specification" from here. I would be intrested to get some information how this "sensitivity" is calculated.
Yours,
Heikki
