I find a cDAQ-9178 chassis in our lab without the power supply. The manual notes that a power input connector is required, which is a 2 positions 3.5 mm pitch pluggable screw terminal with screw locks. It looks like this specific screw terminal can only be found on the NI website (NI-9976 part: https://www.ni.com/en-ca/shop/accessories/products/terminal-block-plug.html?modelId=125640). Is this part correct for the power input?
If I understand, I can use a wire to connect the NI-9976 screw terminal to a power converter which meets the voltage and power ratings. Do I understand it correctly?
Thanks,
Chenxi

Your understanding is correct. Usually, the cDAQ only ships with the power input and you need to find a power supply adapter and connect the wires to the screw terminal.

Get it. Thank you so much! I ordered a new chassis but I still want to utilize the previous one. Now I think I am going to find a power adapter meeting the voltage rating and maximum power for the chassis.
