What is good?

Mounting?

Range?

DC?

Price?

Temperature range?

Application?

Quite small and cheap (sample for free;) ) are MEMS from ST/Freescale/AD ...

B&K(4326A / 4321) , PCB or Kistler (8290 / 8763) is another class

Some more requirements are helpful...

Hi,

Thanks.  My application involves measuring vibration due to a high speed (10000 rpm) hydraulic motor.  I am planning to attach 2 tri axial accelerometers on both ports of the motor. It does not have to be cheap, but it must be suited for my application.  Any suggestion is much appreciated.  Thanks

Hi Sunnyabc,

We have the sensor advisor available online from our website; however, I recommend contacting an acclerometer company to discuss your application to ensure all of your needs are met.  You will need to ensure that you are under the 19V compliance voltage for the NI 9234.  Exceeding the compliance voltage does not damage the card but you will not read values above that level.  The compliance voltage may vary from transducer to transducer.  See this knowledge base article to learn more about calculating this value.  Good luck!
