Hi all,
Hopefully someone knows the solution to this:
I have an USB-TC01 that i updated the firmware of, after a wihile the status was "Syncing the flash" after an hour or so it threw an "unknown exception" and closed the program.
Now the USB-TC01 shows up as a "USB Firmware Loader"
Does anyone know a way how to restore the firmware?
The original update utiility only shows "No supported devices found"
There is no USB drive with the software
And it is not regocnized in MAX.
I followed these steps allready https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P7jTSAS&l=nl-NL
Kind regards,
Ruud

I did a few months ago an update of two USB-TC01 devices that caused a firmware to old error with a current DAQmx version and that worked quite fine. Are you using a Windows 10 system for that? It's old hardware and an old updater tool that you download from here:
So Windows 11 may cause trouble.

It would be best to raise a support ticket with NI to figure out further.

Hi thanx for your response, i did file a request, but got the response that I needed an SSP subscription.
So I am at a loss now, because clearly i need to restore the firmware but I sadly cannot find this anywhere.

Tnx for replying,
Well my problem is now that the device does not get recognized anymore, I did try Win10 indeed and used the software from the link you provided.
I tried it on a Win11 machine aswell but still it only shows up as a Firmware Loader

I empathize your frustration, if the lead time is not an issue it will be cheaper to buy another USB-TC01 than spend several days to get this corrupted device fixed.
