I am wanting to upgrade a PCI-6023E To a M-Series with higher resolution and better sampling, I need to determine if the cabling and channels would be the same in doing an upgrade like that, I have a propriatory system with a NI 68 pin SCSI connection that is set up to work with channeling on the 6023E.
Thanks in advance!

Hi gokenai,
I understand you want to upgrade from the PCI-6023E to an M-Series DAQ, and have questions about whether the M-Series DAQs pinouts map identically to the E-Series DAQ pinouts. The answer is that they don't exactly match, but are very similar, and depending on your application, you may be able to use an M-Series DAQ without changing any of the physical channel connections. There is an outstanding developer zone article that discusses your concerns. It is called 'Migrating an Application from E Series to M Series.' I think you might find it very useful.
Best wishes,
Wallace F.
